Obverse description Draped bust of Otacilia Severa, wife of Philip I, facing right, her hair arranged in waves and drawn up into a bun, adorned with a diadem. The effigy is rendered in the typical provincial style of the mid-third century AD, with the legend encircling the portrait in the field. The surface shows extensive patination and wear consistent with a heavily circulated provincial bronze.
