| Obverse description | Draped bust of Otacilia Severa, empress and wife of Philip I, facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and secured with a diadem. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Phrygian civic coinage under the Philippan dynasty. The Greek legend partially surrounds the bust in the field. The flan shows typical irregularity of hammered provincial bronze production. |
