| Obverse description | Radiate, draped bust of Emperor Nero facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Achaean colonial issues. The radiate crown, composed of pointed rays, frames the imperial effigy and denotes the emperor's solar associations. A small countermark, possibly a wheel or star motif, is visible in the left field. The encircling Latin legend runs clockwise around the periphery of the flan. |
