| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Gaius Julius Verus Maximus (Caesar), facing right, portrayed in three-quarter view from the front, with curled hair rendered in fine detail. The effigy displays military dress with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The obverse legend in Greek characters encircles the bust, reading Γ ΙΟΥ ΟΥΗ ΜΑΞΙΜΟϹ ΚΑΙϹ. A perforation hole is visible near the center of the bust, indicating later use as a pendant or amulet. |
