Reverse description Homonoia, the personification of civic concord, seated on a throne facing left, dressed in chiton and himation, extending a patera in her right hand and cradling a cornucopia in her left arm. In some specimens she is depicted wearing a kalathos (modius) on her head, emphasizing her divine attributes. The reverse type reflects the common Bithynian civic imagery of harmony and abundance. The ethnic legend ΝΙΚΑΙΕΩΝ curves around the field, identifying the issuing city of Nicaea.
