Opposite him, Hygieia, goddess of health, stands to the right, extending a patera from which a serpent rising from an altar feeds. The two divine figures are rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Bithynian civic coinage, with the ethnic legend of the Iuliopolitans encircling the composition. |
