Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Marcus Aurelius facing right, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style with characteristic beaded laurel wreath and short curled beard. The imperial effigy displays fine portraiture typical of the Antonine period, with well-defined facial features. The encircling Greek legend runs along the coin's periphery. The flan is irregular, as is typical of Alexandrian bronze coinage of this period.

Reverse description The Egyptian deity Ammon depicted with a draped bust facing right, crowned with a solar disk, riding on the back of a ram walking right. In the left field before the ram stands a lighted altar. The regnal year date appears in the field. The composition reflects the syncretic religious iconography characteristic of Roman Alexandria, blending Greek, Roman, and Egyptian divine imagery.
