| Beschrijving keerzijde | A seated male divinity, identified tentatively as Hades/Pluto or Zeus, enthroned and facing left, holding a patera in the extended right hand and a long sceptre in the left. The figure sits upon an ornate throne with decorative legs, rendered in the Hellenistic tradition common to Lydian provincial coinage. The encircling Greek legend names the local magistrate and the civic ethnikon of Nysa. A rectangular tabula or base is visible beneath the throne in the exergual area. |
