| Obverse description | Diademed and draped bust of the Demos, bearded, facing right, depicted in the manner of a civic personification. The portrait displays characteristic provincial workmanship, with the diadem visible at the crown of the head and traces of drapery at the shoulder. The encircling Greek legend reads ΔΗΜΟϹ ϹΤΕΚΤΟΡΗΝΩΝ, identifying the subject as the personified people (Demos) of Stectorium. The flan is irregular, as typical of Phrygian civic bronze coinage of the Antonine period. |
