Megalopolis-Sebasteia was a short-lived administrative fusion of two Pisidian communities under Roman provincial reorganization, and coins struck in the joint city's name are rare precisely because the arrangement didn't last. The RPC IV.3 corpus documents only a handful of dies for the entire Lucius Verus issues from this mint, making even circulated survivors genuinely scarce rather than merely old.
The era date ΕΤ ΗϞ — year 98 — anchors this piece within the local Sullan era, calculating to approximately 163/164 AD, squarely within the co-reign of Marcus Aurelius and Verus following the death of Antoninus Pius.
