Obverse description Jugate busts of the emperor Tiberius and Livia facing right, rendered in the provincial Hellenistic style typical of Herodian coinage. The portraits are positioned with Tiberius in the foreground, both figures depicted with draped shoulders. A circular countermark is visible in the lower field. The abbreviated Greek legend ΣΕΒΑΣΤWΝ appears in the left field, identifying the subjects as 'the Augusti.'

Reverse description Tetrastyle temple facade of the Augusteum at Paneas (Caesarea Philippi) depicted frontally, set upon a raised platform or podium, with a triangular pediment surmounting four columns. A circular decoratory element or cult object is visible within the intercolumniation. An X-shaped countermark is applied within the temple structure. The Greek legend naming Philip the Tetrarch surrounds the design in the field.
