Nacrasa was a minor Lydian city whose civic coinage under Hadrian reflects the emperor's sustained engagement with the Greek East — he visited the region during his 123–124 AD tour of Asia Minor, a journey that prompted a wave of honorific issues from small poleis eager to signal loyalty.
