Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of the Emperor Hadrian facing right, portrayed from behind to show the rear of the cuirass and paludamentum. The effigy is rendered in typical Alexandrian provincial style, with the laureate wreath clearly delineated. A Greek imperial legend surrounds the bust, identifying the emperor by his full titulature.
