Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, viewed from the rear, rendered in the typical Alexandrian provincial style. The laureate wreath is depicted with fine detail across the emperor's curled hair. The obverse legend in Greek characters is distributed around the bust, naming the emperor in his full imperial titulature. The flan shows characteristic irregular edges typical of Alexandrian bronze coinage of the period.

Reverse description Isis, crowned with the solar disc flanked by cow horns and double plumes, seated to the right in a formal, hieratic pose. The infant Harpocrates, wearing the double crown (pschent) and holding a lotus sceptre, sits upon her knee with his right hand raised in the characteristic gesture of childhood. A palm branch appears to the right of the group, symbolising victory and divine favour, while a jug (hydria) is placed behind the figures. The regnal date L ΙϚ (year 16) appears in the field.
