| Obverse description | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gordian III facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic three-quarter back view typical of provincial bronze coinage. The radiate crown with pronounced pointed rays frames the imperial effigy. The paludamentum is visible at the shoulder, and the cuirass is indicated by relief detail.
