The wreath border, a common device on Mysian civic bronzes, frames the epigraphic content symmetrically. The reverse carries no figural imagery, relying solely on the prestige of the inscribed text to convey civic pride and loyalty to Rome. The coin's surface is heavily patinated with green encrustation, rendering some details of the wreath and outer legend partially obscured. |
