Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gallienus facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the rear, a presentation typical of provincial bronze coinage of Asia Minor during the mid-third century. The imperial effigy displays the characteristic stylized engraving of the Cyzicene mint, with the paludamentum visible over the cuirass. The encircling Greek legend names the emperor with his full titulature. The flan is notably irregular, consistent with hammered provincial issues of this period.

Reverse description Central field depicts two tall flaming torches standing upright, each entwined by a serpent whose bodies interlock between the shafts in a caduceus-like arrangement, referencing mystery cult symbolism associated with Cyzicus. Between the two torches stands a small lighted altar with flames visible at its summit. The composition is framed by the encircling Greek legend distributed around the periphery and in the lower exergual area, referencing the city's twice-neocorate status. The bold, high-relief rendering of the serpents and torches is characteristic of the skilled die-cutters working at Cyzicus under Gallienus.
