| Obverse description | Bare-headed, youthful bust of the eponymous hero Kyzikos facing right, with flowing hair and a diadem, rendered in the Hellenistic provincial style. A serpent is depicted beneath the bust in the lower field. The obverse legend ΚΥΖΙΚΟϹ is disposed around the portrait within a dotted border. The flan shows characteristic irregularity at the edges, consistent with provincial bronze coinage of this period. |

| Reverse description | A tetrastyle temple depicted in frontal elevation, with four columns supporting an arched or domed roof, the whole raised on a stepped podium. Within the intercolumnar space, a seated deity or cult figure is visible in the central bay. The encircling legend ΚΥΖΙΚΗΝΩΝ ΔΙϹ ΝΕΟΚΟΡΩ proclaims Cyzicus's twice-granted neocorate status, a civic honor of considerable prestige in the province of Asia. The design is framed by a dotted border, and the flan bears a notch or flaw at the left edge. |
