| Obverse description | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gallienus facing left, with the right hand raised in an adlocutio gesture as seen from the rear, rendered in the provincial die-cutting style characteristic of the Cyzicus mint. The imperial effigy is depicted in three-quarter view, with pauldrons and pteryges visible on the cuirass. The encircling Greek legend occupies the full periphery of the flan. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show typical provincial bronze patination. |
