Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Elagabalus facing right, with cuirass visible beneath the drapery. The portrait displays the characteristic youthful features of the emperor, with curled hair beneath the laurel wreath. The circular Greek legend runs along the border of the flan, naming the emperor in his full imperial titulature.

(Translation: Marcus Aurelius Antoninus Augustus)
Reverse description Front elevation of a hexastyle temple rendered in fine detail, the six fluted columns supporting an entablature and triangular pediment. A globe or orb is prominently displayed at the apex of the pediment, flanked by acroteria. The architectural facade rests on a stepped podium (krepidoma), and the city ethnic legend ΝΙΚΑΙΕΩΝ is distributed in the field to either side of and below the temple structure.
