Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Domitian facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Alexandrian coinage. The effigy displays the emperor with a wreath of laurel leaves, with drapery visible at the shoulder. The Greek legend encircles the portrait in the field, reading ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙΣΑΡ ΔΟΜΙΤΙΑΝΟΣ ΣΕΒ ΓΕΡΜ, identifying the emperor as Autokrator Caesar Domitianus Sebastos Germanikos. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show typical patination and wear consistent with a circulated provincial bronze.
