| Reverse description | Turreted, veiled, and draped bust of Tyche, the city goddess of Nicomedia, facing right, her hair crowned with a mural crown symbolising the fortified city walls. The drapery is rendered in fine folds over the shoulder. The surrounding Greek legend identifies the city of Nicomedia with its neokoros title. Two suspension holes pierced through the upper flan are visible, consistent with those on the obverse. |
