| Obverse description | Laureate, draped bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, with paludamentum visible on the left shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style typical of Troas civic coinage, with the laureate wreath rendered in moderate relief. The circumferential Latin legend reads M AV ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, identifying the emperor by his full titulature. The flan shows characteristic irregular casting edges and a green-brown patina consistent with provincial bronze fabric. |
