Reverse description Standing cult statue of Apollo Smintheus depicted in right profile, positioned atop a short decorative column, with a quiver visible over the deity's shoulder. The figure holds a patera in the extended right hand and a bow in the left, attributes emblematic of this local Troad cult. A tripod, a symbol of Apollo's prophetic and sacred function, stands to the right of the column. The encircling colonial legend COL ALEXAN AVG identifies the issuing city of Alexandria Troas with its Augustan colonial status.
