Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in low relief characteristic of Alexandrian provincial coinage. The emperor's effigy displays his characteristic full beard and laurel wreath, with drapery visible on the shoulder. The surrounding legend runs along the periphery of the flan. The flan is irregular in shape, typical of hammered provincial bronze issues of the mid-second century AD. Considerable patination and surface corrosion are present, partially obscuring the finer details of the portrait.
