| Obverse description | Laureate head of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style typical of Egyptian imperial coinage. The portrait displays the emperor's characteristic beard and laurel wreath, with the surrounding Greek legend reading ΑΥΤ Κ Τ ΑΙΛ ΑΔΡ ΑΝΤωΝΙΝΟϹ ΕΥϹΕΒ, abbreviating his full titulature as Imperator Caesar Titus Aelius Hadrianus Antoninus Pius. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show heavy patination consistent with the coin's age and Alexandrian fabric. |

| Reverse description | Tyche, the personification of fortune and tutelary deity of Alexandria, depicted standing facing with head turned to the left. She wears the kalathos (modius) upon her head, characteristic of her Alexandrian iconography, and holds a long rudder in her right hand and a cornucopia in her left. The regnal date legend L Δ, denoting the fourth year of Antoninus Pius's reign (140–141 AD), appears in the field. |
