Reverse description Frontal cult statue of a veiled local goddess standing in full figure, facing the viewer, wearing a kalathos (basket-shaped crown) upon her head and extending both arms outward at her sides in a hieratic pose. The rigid, archaic stance is characteristic of Anatolian cult imagery, reflecting the veneration of a local tutelary deity at Cidrama. The surrounding Greek legend names the issuing magistrate and the civic ethnic of the Cidramenes. The provincial die work is functional rather than refined, consistent with small-denomination civic bronze coinage of the mid-second century AD.
