Reverse description Helmeted figure of Roma seated to the left upon a cuirass and shield, her right hand extending a small Nike and her left hand resting on a sword or sceptre. The composition follows a well-established provincial iconographic type associating the city of Maeonia with Rome's military prestige. The Greek magistrate's legend, naming the eponymous official, encircles the type in the field. The overall strike is slightly off-centre, with the reverse showing characteristic flatness on the higher relief elements.
