Obverse description Bare head of Heracles, bearded, turned to right, clad in the Nemean lion-scalp headdress, the jaws of the pelt framing the deity's brow in characteristic fashion. The portrait is rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Carian civic bronzes of the Antonine period, with bold, slightly rough modelling. The encircling legend appears in the field around the central effigy. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show typical patination of a hammered provincial bronze.

Reverse description Frontal cult statue of Artemis Ephesia standing facing, wearing a high kalathos on her head and the characteristic multiple-breast adornment of her Ephesian cult type. The goddess is flanked by two stags, one on each side, in the traditional Potnia Theron pose, with lateral supports or drapery bands extending from her forearms. The reverse legend, naming the magistrate Attalos archiatros, is disposed around the figure in the field. The overall composition reflects the widespread diffusion of the Ephesian Artemis cult type across the cities of Asia Minor during the Imperial period.
