The magistrate name abbreviated in the legend likely held a local liturgical office, the kind of appointed civic role wealthy provincials were expected to fund personally, a system Rome relied upon to govern without paying for it.
Bronze civic issues from Blaundus are sparsely documented compared to neighboring Lydian mints, making die studies for this reign genuinely incomplete.
