Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Apollo facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style characteristic of the Pontic region. The laureate wreath is depicted with prominent individual leaves encircling the head, and the drapery is visible at the truncation of the bust. The legend OΛBIOПОΛЕI curves around the upper and left field, identifying the city of Olbia. The portraiture is bold and slightly stylized, consistent with Flavian-era provincial bronze coinage from the northern Black Sea region.
