| Reverse description | Draped bust of a local heroic figure, identified tentatively as the eponymous hero Kieros, facing right and seen from the front. The portrait is rendered in a simple provincial style characteristic of Bithynian civic bronze coinage. The encircling Greek legend names the issuing city of Prusias ad Hypium. The flan is irregular and the reverse die is slightly off-center, consistent with hammered provincial production of the period. |
