Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, depicted from behind in the characteristic rear-view (a tergo) presentation typical of Alexandrian Troas colonial coinage. The emperor's paludamentum is visible over the cuirass, with the laureate wreath rendered in low relief. The peripheral legend runs around the bust in Latin characters, partially visible on this heavily patinated specimen.
