| Obverse description | Draped bust of Salonina facing right, wearing a diadem, set within a circular field. The portrait is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Epirot coinage under the joint reign of Valerian and Gallienus. The obverse legend encircles the effigy, identifying the empress by her imperial title. The flan is irregular in shape, as is typical of hammered provincial bronze issues of this period. |
