| Obverse description | Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Trebonianus Gallus facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic three-quarter back view common to provincial coinage of this period. The emperor wears a radiate crown, paludamentum, and segmented cuirass. The encircling Greek legend, partially with retrograde beta characters, identifies the emperor by his full imperial titulature. The portrait is rendered in the robust, somewhat stylised manner typical of mid-third century Phrygian civic bronzes. |

| Reverse description | The river god Gallos, the eponymous deity of the local river, reclines to the left in the classical manner. He is nude or semi-draped, holds a cornucopia in his raised arm, and leans his elbow upon a tilted water urn from which a stream issues, symbolising the river's source. The figure is rendered in a relaxed, naturalistic pose consistent with Hellenistic iconographic tradition. The encircling legend names the issuing city and the local magistrate responsible for the issue. |
