Reverse description Nude Apollo standing left, leaning forward with one foot raised upon an omphalos, resting his elbow upon his knee in a contemplative pose. The god holds a laurel branch in his extended hand, with a raven depicted beneath, an attribute closely associated with Apollo in his oracular and prophetic aspects. The composition reflects a well-established Hellenistic prototype commonly employed at the Alexandria Troas mint. The colonial legend is distributed in the reverse field.
