Reverse description A rectangular agonistic prize table depicted in profile, supported by two legs with cross-bars, upon which are placed two prize urns or crowns. The table type is a well-attested motif on Nicopolis provincial bronzes, commemorating the Aktia games, the prestigious festival celebrated in the city. The design fills the central field, rendered in a schematic but recognizable style characteristic of Greek Imperial provincial coinage from Epirus. The reverse legend is largely missing or off-flan on this specimen.
