| Obverse description | Draped bust of Plautilla facing right, her hair elaborately dressed and secured with a diadem, rendered in the provincial style typical of the Pergamene conventus. The obverse legend encircles the effigy, identifying the empress as Fulvia Plautilla Augusta. The flan is irregular and the strike somewhat weak, consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the Severan period. |
