Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Demos personified, facing right, rendered in the conventional provincial style with a wreath of laurel encircling the head. The drapery falls across the shoulder and chest in loose folds. The Greek legend ΔΗΜΟϹ appears in the field, identifying the effigy as the personification of the civic body of Aphrodisias. A dotted border frames the design.

Reverse description Dionysus, god of wine, depicted standing facing with head turned to the left, clad in a long chiton falling to his feet. His left arm rests upon a column while his right hand holds a thyrsus; a bunch of grapes is presented over a panther standing to the left at his feet. The magistrate's name and civic ethnic appear in the surrounding legend, identifying the issuing authority. The composition reflects standard Dionysiac iconography common to Asia Minor provincial bronzes of the Severan period.
