| Obverse description | Draped bust of Fulvia Plautilla Augusta facing right, her hair elaborately arranged and secured with a diadem, rendered in the provincial style typical of the Conventus of Ephesus. The legend ΦΟΥΛΒ ΠΛΑΥΤΙΛΛΑ ϹΕ is disposed around the bust, identifying the empress by her abbreviated titulature. The portrait reflects the court iconography of the Severan period, with careful attention to the drapery folds over the shoulder. |

| Reverse description | A tetrastyle temple with four columns is depicted in frontal elevation, enclosing the standing figure of Artemis Anaïtis facing the viewer, veiled and fully draped in long robes, her arms positioned in a hieratic pose consistent with cult-statue representations of this Lydian syncretistic deity. The architectural rendering of the temple pediment and columns is characteristic of civic bronze coinage from Hypaepa, where Artemis Anaïtis was the principal cult divinity. The encircling legend names the magistrate Hierax and identifies the issuing civic community of the Hypaepians. |
