Reverse description Two right hands clasped in a dextrarum iunctio, symbolising the bond of alliance or loyalty between Rome and the civic community of Amorium. The motif is centrally placed within the field, with the multi-line Greek magistrate legend surrounding it. The inscription distributed around the type names the local archon Gaius and identifies the issuing civic authority, consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the Severan period.
