| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, depicted from the rear, presenting the characteristic three-quarter rear view employed at the Parium mint. The effigy displays the imperial paludamentum fastened at the shoulder, with the cuirass visible beneath. The surrounding legend in Latin reads ANTONINVS PIVS AV, partially preserved on the flan. The portrait treatment is consistent with the provincial coinage of Mysia during the Severan dynasty. |
