Reverse description Dionysus standing left in the field, his body in contrapposto pose, extending a cantharus downward toward a panther at his feet and holding a long thyrsus in his left hand. The god is depicted semi-draped, consistent with standard Dionysiac iconography on provincial coinage of Phrygia. The ethnic legend ΒΡΟΥΖΗΝΩΝ is disposed around the reverse field. The overall execution reflects the local die-cutting tradition of the Conventus of Apamea.
