| Obverse description | Laureate, draped bust of Septimius Severus facing right, with the emperor's characteristic curly hair and short beard rendered in the provincial style. The effigy displays the emperor in military dress with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The Greek imperial titulature legend runs around the periphery of the flan. The portrait, though struck on an irregular flan, conveys the authoritative image of the African emperor as propagated throughout the eastern provincial mints. |

| Reverse description | Athena standing facing, head turned to left, draped in aegis and chiton, holding a patera in her extended right hand and a long spear in her left hand, with a round shield resting at her side. The goddess is rendered in the typical provincial Anatolian style, with the figure occupying the full height of the field. The encircling Greek legend names both the civic community of the Acrasians and the local magistrate Asclepiodoros responsible for the issue. The overall composition reflects the standard typology of Athena employed by cities of the Pergamene conventus during the Severan period. |
