| Beschrijving voorzijde | Draped bust of the personified Roman Senate (ΙΕΡΑ ϹΥΝΚΛΗΤΟϹ) facing right, rendered in the conventional manner of a veiled or draped male figure. The bust is depicted with flowing drapery arranged across the shoulder. The surrounding legend reads ΙΕΡΑ ϹΥΝΚΛΗΤΟϹ (Sacred Senate) distributed around the periphery of the flan. The portrait type follows the standard civic personification convention employed by Smyrna and other cities of the Conventus during the reign of Philip I. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Two Nemeses standing facing one another in the field, their figures rendered in the characteristic paired iconography associated with Smyrna's civic coinage. The Nemesis at left holds a bridle, while the Nemesis at right holds a cubit rule (measuring rod); at their feet a wheel is visible, a common attribute of Nemesis symbolising the turning of fate. The reverse legend around the periphery identifies the issuing city and magistrate. |
