| Obverse description | Draped bust of Julia Domna facing right, her hair elaborately waved and coiled in the characteristic Severan style, with a pronounced central parting and tresses drawn back above the nape. The empress is depicted with fine portraiture typical of Pisidian colonial coinage of the Severan period. The Latin legend IVLIA AVGVSTA encircles the bust, distributed across the field on both sides. |
