Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, portrayed from behind so that the paludamentum and cuirass are prominently visible. The effigy displays the characteristic short beard and laurel wreath of Hadrian's Alexandrian coinage. The surrounding Greek legend is arranged in two groups across the field, partially legible on this worn specimen.
