Obverse description Bare-headed, diademed youthful bust of the eponymous hero Kyzikos facing right, with curling hair rendered in low relief. The effigy is depicted with a draped shoulder, consistent with heroic iconography typical of Greek imperial civic coinage. A serpent is tentatively indicated beneath the bust in the lower field. The obverse legend encircles the portrait, identifying the figure by name.
