附加信息	Cyzicus held the title of neokoros — temple warden to the imperial cult — twice over by this period, a status aggressively lobbied for through embassies to Rome and publicly broadcast on civic coinage. The strategos named in the legend, Lucius Oklatinus Severus, is otherwise poorly documented; his appearance here is one of the few surviving records of his magistracy. Gallienus's sole reign followed his father Valerian's capture by Shapur I in 260, the single most humiliating Roman military disaster in a generation.
