| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, depicted from behind with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder and the cuirass rendered in detail. The emperor's portrait is executed in the provincial style characteristic of the Cyzicus mint, with a radiate wreath of laurel framing the bearded visage. The circular Greek legend runs along the periphery of the flan. |
